We are an academy
An academy is a specialized school designed to focus on student development in a
particular subject, area of study, or educational approach.
Christ Academy is designed to be a College Preparatory school
and our educational approach is Blended Learning.
how we teach
OUR Definition of
blended learning
We define Blended Learning as a formal education program in which student learning takes place at least in part at the brick-and-mortar campus and at least in part through online learning. This combined approach offers some elements of student choice like time, place, path, and/ or pacing of their coursework and is developmentally appropriate.
We use a blended learning approach because it creates an individualized result for each student challenging them academically as well as honing their “soft skills,” such as time management, self-advocacy & self-discipline, which greatly benefits them in college and the career world.
“The goal of our blended learning approach is to give students an individual choice within boundaries and prepare them to be independent, self-aware, and prepared for college and the predicted world of work. We understand employees in the hybrid workplace are going to be expected to be able to seamlessly shift from remote work, working from home, and working on site.”
